Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for Ordinance Equipment Mechanic in Indianapolis, IN..

As a(n) Ordinance Equipment Mechanic (OEM) you will:

• Work in a warehouse setting
• Assemble units
• Clean and inspect parts and disassemble returned units
• Perform basic to complex assembly, fabrication using keen eye skills
• Test complex electronic, mechanical and hydraulics in accordance with common military or commercial specifications
• Adjust mechanical parts to precise tolerances.

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must be able to perform duties using pneumatic tools, electric tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Must be able to read, interpret and analyze blue prints, production planning and other documents.
• Must have structural experience; light machining, sheet metal work, drilling, riveting, or airframe repairs.
• Ability to use power tools

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Mechanical Assembly
• CNC Machining
• Repair or Maintenance Operations

Schedule: 1st shift opportunity


Pay Rate: $24.94 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
