Volt is immediately hiring for Inventory Control Lead in Riverside, CA.

As a Inventory Control Lead you will:

• Provides leadership by example while performing tasks of a warehouse team member.
• Must be able to learn and perform all job tasks including the VAI computer system, voice pick, running of route sheets, finding lost product, putting replenishments in transit and making sure transfers are completed in a timely manner.
• Assists in training new employees on voice pick and in general operation.
• Issues customer credits; applies any additional charges, such as freight to ship back to vendor or transfer fees to ship to another distribution center; verify the restock fee that is on the return against any paperwork that from the vendor stating the restock fee.
• Pull vendor recall items from inventory and process return of recalled product in a timely and efficient manner.
• Obtain dead stock and quarterly return authorizations; key returns and notify purchasing department of timeline for return.
• Research and correct inventory issues and order discrepancies to conclusion.
• Reconciling purchase orders; identifying errors between receivers, packing slips, and quantities on hand. This includes physically locating and counting product to compare against paperwork, communicating with vendors to report damages, incorrect shipments and shortages, resolving differences by ensuring correct action is recorded in the system.

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience picking from order slips
• Comfortable working in fast pace environment
• Experience doing quality control checks
• Able to maintain equipment in good standing order
• Able to operate warehouse equipment and powered trucks as needed, as well as lift/pull/carry at least 50 pounds.
• Must be willing/able to stand for entire shift, often over 8 hours.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 4am-12:30pm with periodic OT
  

Pay: $22-$24 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
