Volt is immediately hiring for an Assembler!

As an Assembler you will:

• Build basic Level I assemblies using engineering and manufacturing documentation under supervision.
• Perform various operations, including rework, requiring an understanding of the functional operation of the items assembled and the finished product.
• Oversee quality activities, including self-inspection.
• Collaborate with Engineering to assemble prototype units from written instructions.
• Assemble/disassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and standard wrenches, and operate basic test equipment.
• Perform basic functional tests, including dielectric, bonding, and continuity tests.

This is a Full-time opportunity


12 month assignment- opportunity for conversion

The ideal candidate will:

• Basic understanding of electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and standard wrenches.
• Ability to operate basic test equipment and perform functional tests (dielectric, bonding, continuity tests).
• IPC 610 Certification or a valid RF/testing certificate is a plus.

Pay Rate: $20-$22/ Hour

Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM (Possible overtime from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
