Volt is immediately hiring for an office assistant in Visalia, CA.
As an Office Assistant you will be:
Answer inquiries and provide information and referrals over the telephone.
Greet the public and direct them to the appropriate office.
Type letters and reports.
Handle daily unit-inspection letters/reports.
Open and date-stamp all incoming mail.
Check and tabulate statistical data.
Input daily maintenance-crew work-order data into the computer.
Assist in providing support for the administrative office, accounting department (utilities, rents, etc.), and housing inspectors.
Help train newly hired administrative staff.
Apply daily postage to outgoing mail on occasion.
Take tenant applications over the phone and assist with housing updates on a limited basis.
Perform related work as required.
This is a full time opportunity. 8am-5pm Monday- Friday
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 1-2 year's experience in typing and clerical work.
Modern office methods, equipment, and procedures.
Proper English usage and spelling.
Sufficient math skills for accurate computations.
Bilingual Spanish a MUST
Type at a speed of 45 words per minute.
Pay Rate: $19.30 per hour
