Patent Litigation Associate - New York and Washington, DC
Our client is a major international firm, seeking a mid to senior level patent litigator for its dynamic Intellectual Property and Technology practice in New York or Washington, DC. The salary for this position is between $265k to $420k and may vary depending on experience.
Qualifications
4-6 years of patent litigation experience, including some of the following:
Patents, trade secret, false advertising, unfair competition, and other IP rights in federal courts and before the USITC.
Drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, and appellate briefs.
Working with experts [assisting in preparing reports and document & written discovery], taking and defending depositions.
Assisting with jury and bench trials and administrative hearings.
Preparing and assisting in arguing in motion arguments, trials, and appellate arguments in state and federal trial and appellate courts, including PTAB and ITC and mediation.
USPTO admission is preferred.
Science or engineering degree is preferred.
Excellent academic credentials and bar admission in jurisdiction of practice.
Excellent communication skills; team focused.
