Role Summary: We are looking for an electrical engineer to join our team and help drive hardware projects through their life cycle: starting with requirements generation, concept development, detailed design, manufacturing, and finally, testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment and be excited to work with a small, high-performing, and hands-on team.
Basic Qualifications:
Recently obtained a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent field of study)
Fundamental knowledge of power electronics and electric machines
Experience in programming and using Microcontrollers/FPGAs
Strong comprehension of design fundamentals
Able to start working immediately
Willingness to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
Detail-oriented and capable of effectively prioritizing and executing tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
MS with relevant coursework in power electronics, control systems, and electric machines
Applied engineering experience in power electronics (firmware and hardware)
Relevant experience (such as internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects)
Significant experience with programming and using Microcontrollers/FPGAs
Experience with programing induction, brushless, and reluctance electric motor control as well as programming inverters and DC converters
Clear understanding of real time control, A/D conversion time, and resolution and instructions time execution
Familiarity with Altium Designer (or similar software)
