The ideal IT Analyst will be given the opportunity to support the Architecture and Engineering department, focusing on projects in Oracle, Microsoft, DevOps and M365. Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or similar field OR equivalent experience.
0-2 years of experience working within an IT related role.
Python experience is preferred.
Academic or professional experience with Unix or Linux operating Systems.
Academic or professional experience with cloud platforms (Azure/OCI Cloud Platform is. a plus).
Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about Desktop technologies (Windows and a bit of Mac).
Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about of SQL database.
Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about DevOps.
Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about Wintel Server.
Experience/knowledge of OR eagerness to learn about Enterprise Storage/Back-ups.
Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
Excellent communications skills
Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
Understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms.
Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Dedicate time towards three major projects to ensure on-time project delivery.
Support the team by patching, compiling, securing and troubleshooting Unix servers to implement change in the various project spaces.
Support the Architecture and Engineering project portfolio including but not limited to:
Create metrics, reports and dashboards around ADO using tools like Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
Develop automated unit tests and/or automated UI tests.
Enhance knowledge of and compliance with preferred technologies, methodologies, standards and policies. Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function.
Assist in the development of white papers, presentations, or knowledge sharing for new and recommended solutions.
Ideate, design, and develop process and technology improvements such as process or test automations.
Independently meet with business groups involved in miscellaneous projects.
