IT Director Position Summary: The Director of IT will be responsible to lead the technology strategy for the company working with a small team of people responsible for the design, implementation, and management of IT systems.
IT Director Responsibilities:
Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports business objectives and drives innovation.
Lead a team of IT professionals that take care of the day to day business systems and the infrastructure critical to a multi-site operation
Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology investments with the business needs.
Manage the IT infrastructure for the organization to ensure that the systems are highly available, reliable, and scalable to meet the current and future business needs.
Manage IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Develop and implement the appropriate security policies to safeguard the organization's data
Manage the relationships with IT vendors, ensuring they deliver on service level agreements.
IT Director Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of comparable work experience leading an IT department
Minimum of 3 years in an IT management or supervisory role with hands-on leadership experience.
Proven ability to manage budgets, projects, and vendor relationships effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server).
Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles with experience in implementation of security protocols and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, SOC2).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in Rochester NY.
