Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Assist with the development of site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Microstation.
Develop pipe networks and pressure pipe networks using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details.
Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings.
Apply intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and corporate policies and procedures.
Stay updated with industry knowledge and technology trends.
Ensure work product complies with the company quality program.
Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
Understand basic construction and constructability practices and principles.
Intermediate knowledge of basic engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to the assigned engineering discipline.
Qualifications:
Autodesk Civil 3D
Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D)
Autodesk AutoCAD
Bluebeam
Knowledge of Civil design/site layout using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
Diploma or Certificate preferred; Associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
