Irrigation Technician at Sun Valley Landscaping in Omaha, Nebraska

Job Description:

Summary: The irrigation technician is a highly detailed and experienced industry professional who is proficient in all aspects of irrigation systems. The candidate must be thoroughly familiar with wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pulling pipe, installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc. Candidate will require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the position.
Job Duties:
Thoroughly understands all aspects of irrigation as outlined above. Operate turn-on, turn-off, maintenance, and repairs, for irrigation clients. Perform other duties within the maintenance and landscape divisions: lawn mowing, fertilizing, aeration, mulching, planting, low voltage lighting repairs, and misc. landscaping projects. Operate plow truck during the snow removal season.

Desired Experience and Education:
Minimum of 4 years experience in irrigation service and repairs. Ability to operate equipment and large truck operation. Knowledge in most commercial and residential irrigation systems required. Must possess a drivers license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test. Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance Physically able to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body Maintain a positive and supportive attitude at all times Must have reliable transportation to and from work Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-6:00pm (hours vary based on time of year); some Saturdays
