We are seeking a skilled Lending Systems Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing and implementing scalable solutions in our cloud system and Salesforce loan origination system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development, cloud technologies, and system integrations, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Essential Functions:
Develop software scripts and applications to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based systems and Salesforce loan origination platform.
Collaborate with technology teams and key business stakeholders to identify and implement scalable solutions to enhance business systems infrastructure and services.
Assist with system integrations, software configurations, and product launches, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the interaction between multiple cloud-based systems, actively seek and propose better alternatives to existing systems, and critically evaluate current development methodologies.
Document technical solutions, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to support continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding IT security, data protection, and confidentiality.
Competencies/Skills:
Experience with software development and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, java or bash scripting.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and Salesforce or willingness to learn with the opportunity for company-sponsored training and certification in these systems.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users and technical teams.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
2+ years relevant experience.
Relevant certifications in software development, cloud platforms, or Salesforce are a plus.
