Responsibilities:
Performing analysis and design of bridge elementsPreparing cohesive and organized structural calculationsDetailing and drafting of structural elements Assist with geometric layout and quantity developmentDeveloping task deliverables for review by a Senior EngineerPerforming tasks according to assigned schedule and budget Working independently under the guidance of a Senior EngineerProvide direction for team members as needed Participate in bridge inspections, perform load rating calculations, and assist with report writing
Qualifications:
0-5 years of bridge engineering design experienceB.S. in Civil Engineering degree is required, M.S. is preferredEngineer-in-Training Certification preferred, with desire to obtain PE licensureBasic knowledge of applicable codes and standardsBasic knowledge of general purpose structural analysis programsBasic knowledge of computer aided drafting programsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office productsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent organizational skillsPositive attitude and good work ethic with desire to work in a collaborative environment
