Job Description:
Brunel is looking to hire a
Well Servicing Data Technician to work with a
major oil and gas company located in
Midland, TX on a
contract basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordination of data entry: Ensure accurate and timely entry of downhole activity data into the system.
- Data correction: Review and correct data reported through OpenWells as submitted by the Well Operations Control System (WOCS).
- Data collection and trend analysis: Gather, input, and validate data to track trends that inform downhole decision-making processes.
- Failure information updates: Update and maintain failure information within OpenWells for accurate reporting and record-keeping.
- Post-job updates: Update wellbore information following completion of jobs to reflect the latest well conditions.
- Rigless job documentation: Create, maintain, and complete documentation for rigless jobs.
- Document management: Attach and manage all relevant documents associated with jobs to ensure comprehensive records.
- Software issue identification: Proactively identify, report, and follow up on software issues to ensure smooth operational workflow.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with Well Servicing and Artificial Lift teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective well performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in data entry and analysis for well operations.
- Familiarity with OpenWells or similar wellbore software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving skills, particularly related to software troubleshooting.
