Our Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization. This role involves strategic financial planning, ensuring financial stability, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The Director of Finance plays a crucial role in supporting the company's long-term growth by providing accurate financial insights and guiding the company through financial decisions.
Salary is from $90,000 annually
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
Minimum of 7 years work experience as a controller or director level finance manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Reporting:
Manage information systems control for all accounting activities
Prepare and present financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) for all operating divisions
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports
Maintain daily cash reconciliation with bank statements across all accounts
Review and approve accounts payable and manage wire transfer accounts payable
Coordinate payroll activities with HR business partner and accounting department
Approve invoices for utilities, maintenance parts, and supplies
Financial Analysis and Management:
Assist top management with financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions
Coordinate financial balance activities in the hedging process with top management
Manage accounts receivable processing, including incoming wire transfers and invoicing accuracy for shipments
Oversee timely collection of accounts receivable
Cash Flow Management:
Ensure that the company maintains adequate cash flow to meet its obligations, managing liquidity, and optimizing working capital
Risk and Compliance:
Manage risk, including insurance, liabilities, and workers' compensation
Track and renew insurance certificates and quotes annually
Ensure all insurance-related documentation is up to date
Maintain coordination with external audits, tax, and law firms to ensure compliance
Banking and Financial Institutions:
Interface with financial institutions to track daily credit reports and commodity statements
Control and manage Bill.com for payables
Sign checks on behalf of top management when necessary
Asset and Fixed Schedules:
Maintain fixed asset schedules, tracking additions and disposals as authorized by top management
Additional Responsibilities:
Support 401(k) activities and ensure compliance with regulations
Coordinate with external audits and maintain general ISO awareness of business policies and objectives
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform additional duties not listed above that management deems necessary for this position
