About the Company:

Focus GTS, a leading provider of IT staffing solutions, is dedicated to connecting top talent with innovative companies. We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our dynamic team as a New Business Engagement Specialist.

About the Role:

This role involves high-volume phone calling to schedule appointments for our sales team. The position is hybrid-based in the Greater Miami area. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume calling environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to potential clients.
  • Identify decision makers and qualify leads based on specific criteria.
  • Schedule appointments between potential clients and our sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, interactions, and appointments in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and maintain engagement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and provide support.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve skills and stay updated on industry trends and company offerings.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role such as telemarketing, customer service, or Outbound sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with high-volume calling and handling rejection.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Bullhorn, Salesloft, or similar is a plus.
  • Self motivated with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
