About Us:
We are leading mental health organization dedicated to providing high-quality trauma therapy services to victims of power-based violence. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma Therapist to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Trauma Therapist will provide trauma therapy services to individuals who have undergone domestic or sexual violence. The Therapist with provide long term trauma therapy that is unique for each client with an emphasis on promoting resilience; and expansion of coping skills in a way that makes sense for each client's healing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide trauma therapy services to victims of power-based violence.
Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions.
Maintain a caseload of 20-24 clients, with a duration of 6 months per client.
Collaborate with the intake coordinator for scheduling appointments.
Refer clients to long-term therapy services when necessary.
Specifics:
Location: Towson or Baltimore City or Arnold MD (choose 1 of preference, no floating)
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: 58,000 - 70,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) required.
Experience in trauma therapy is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
