Stealth Communications is seeking an experienced Submarine/Subsea Cable Program Manager who demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and passion for leading large cross-functional programs in the infrastructure and networking sectors. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and effective in influencing decision-making across different organizations. In this role, you will work closely with various divisions and business units to gather, refine, and drive program goals for delivering subsea fiber-optic cable projects.
This position requires security clearance and is based onsite in New York City.
Responsibilities
Work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver subsea projects across the globe.
Represent and lead for Stealth in deployment and operational meetings.
Coordinate complex projects spanning multiple geographies and deliver them to high standards.
Manage the construction of fiber-based networks, including long-haul fiber and colocation, and the selection and deployment of optical equipment interfacing with submarine cables.
Ensure the delivered network is handed over with a validated operational model appropriate to the specific deployment and location.
Ensure compliance with all provisions of various governmental regulatory agencies.
Obtain proper client approval for any design changes or material substitutions before implementation.
Complete and transmit all required documents in accordance with company procedures.
Capable of independent work and collaboration within a diverse and multidisciplinary team, including scientists, engineers, business professionals, and ex-military personnel.
Travel may be required, including overnight stays.
Qualifications
Required: An active, transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to commencement.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in subsea cable deployment and operation.
Master's Degree in a related field.
Experience working with the Army Corps of Engineers or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command
Proven experience in managing large cross-functional programs in the infrastructure and networking space.
Extensive experience with subsea structures, including cable landing stations, marine operations, and seabed installations.
Deep knowledge of constructing fiber-based networks that span long-haul fiber and landing stations.
Expertise in selecting and deploying optical equipment interfacing with submarine cables.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to influence decision-making across organizations.
Self-driven with the ability to learn quickly.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
PMP Certification
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Annual Salary: $325,000 to $450,000 and $150,000 Sign-On Bonus
