MAU is hiring a Super Market Process Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Super Market Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing the organization and efficiency of the supermarket within the company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing visual management standards, maintaining existing material storage systems, and spearheading layout improvements to ensure smooth material flow and accessibility. This is a contract, long-term assignment.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or materials management environment
General Requirements:
Strong understanding of visual management principles and best practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail and a commitment maintaining a clean and organized supermarket environment
Knowledge of Kanban Point of Order (KPO) systems: training provided
Preferred Requirements:
Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement new visual management standards for the supermarket, including shadow bins and labeling systems
Ensure supermarket bins adhere to established visual management standards, facilitating easy identification and retrieval of materials
Collaborate with ME/Ops Leaders to design and create prototypes for new visual management solutions within the supermarket
Analyze current supermarket layout to identify opportunities for improvement in material flow, accessibility, and overall efficiency
Develop and execute plans for optimizing the layout of the supermarket, including rack design, large part staging areas, and empty cart/bin storage
Implement new layouts of the supermarket, ensuring a smooth transition and effective utilization of the optimized space
Perform other tasks as required
