We're seeking an early to mid-level career Cyber Exploitation Specialist to support the C5ISR Center's mission out at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. This is a new opportunity on a recently awarded five (5) year contract.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Perform analysis and testing on a variety of commercial off the shelf devices such as mobile devices, UAS, and other emerging technologies.
Areas of technical interest include cyber vulnerability assessment, hardware and software reverse engineering, and threat hunting.
Perform analysis and reverse engineering of state-of-the-art electronics.
Perform investigation, evaluation, and application of new technologies.
Assist with the development and deployment of new exploitation toolsets.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
This position requires on-site presence at Client site and operates on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.
TRAVEL:
Position may require some travel.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE: Active and current Top Secret clearance is required upon application for initial consideration, . ***This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.***
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree and Three (3) years of experience.
Additional years of experience may be considered as a substitution for a degree.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with Android and Android devices in a technical capacity.
Experience working in multiple OS environments to include CLI experience.
Familiarity with cryptography and cryptographic systems (asymmetric, symmetric, hashing)
Familiarity with the penetration testing methodology and relevant frameworks.
Experience and competence developing technical reports and documents.
Experience working with a programming language and debugging code.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A deep understanding of computer exploitation, including knowledge at the chipset and bit levels.
Knowledge of uncrewed aircraft systems or related technology.
Experience with a software reverse engineering suite like IDA Pro or Ghidra.
Experience with exploitation tools such as Metasploit, Burpsuite, nmap, Aircrack, hashcat, john the ripper, etc.
Experience with forensic data recovery and related tools.
Experience with reverse engineering tasks (static/dynamic analysis, machine code emulation, and firmware review).
The ability to perform independent open-source research.
Solid background in micro-electronics and/or software development.
