The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital located in the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric, and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.
Nurse Managers provide quality care to patients and components of the treatment program. Nurse Managers use leadership skill to problem-solve, critically think, and formulate positive resolutions.
Job Duties Include:
Supervises employees of the Nursing Units to ensure assigned duties are complete.
Stays within FTE guidelines established for the department, demonstrates understanding of correlation between FTE and patient census.
Collaborates with HR Director regarding employee issues.
Monitors employees' performance on an ongoing basis, providing regular informal feedback on work quality and quantity and on conduct. Maintains written documentation of all informal feedback.

Qualifications
Education
Required graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
One-year supervisory experience required. Certain nursing and/or life experiences may serve as meeting experience requirements.
Certifications/Licensure
Current KY RN licensure.
Crisis intervention certification required. This training is offered upon hire.

Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to delegate appropriately.
