Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Engineer to support our project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulations.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure proper implementation on-site.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Assist in the identification and resolution of project-related issues, including technical problems and delays.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, change orders, and meeting minutes.
Support cost estimation and budget tracking processes to ensure project financial performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
Proficient in engineering software and project management tools (i.e. Procore, Phoenix Scheduling)
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
