Job Description:

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable service monitoring and alerting. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, along with other modern DevOps tooling, and is passionate about creating scalable, secure, and highly available environments.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of services through effective infrastructure design and automation
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Manage infrastructure security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance and optimize the software development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the organization

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with a focus on infrastructure and automation
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Pub/Sub
  • Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and managing cloud resources
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding of service monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, and ELK stack
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and infrastructure tasks
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture design principles
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in Google Cloud or other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Professional DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience with other cloud providers like AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices
  • Experience with ETL and data processing tools like Apache Airflow or Dataflow
  • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud resources
