Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Inspect implants, instruments, and gauges to ensure dimensional and visual integrity meets specified standards.
- Conduct receiving inspections and verify material conformity.
- Use standard inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to measure and verify product dimensions.
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements for inspection.
- Perform Document Review and Product Verification Inspections (PVI) following GMP guidelines.
- Calibrate and qualify inspection equipment; perform Oracle system transactions for inspections.
- Segregate non-conforming materials and complete required documentation.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer vocational/technical school training.
- Prefer formal GD&T training (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3+ years of product inspection experience in cGMP manufacturing.
- Experience in hand finishing, laser-marking, or similar processes preferred.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and using inspection tools.
- Basic MS Outlook; intermediate MS Word and Excel skills.
- Able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Familiarity with FDA CFR 820 and EN 13485 Regulations preferred.
- Experience in receiving inspection and understanding of packaging processes a plus.
