Job Description:
Mechanically design a tank battery and SWD from scratch including full process design and process modeling, Material selection, and Pipe, valve, fitting selection meeting all relevant codes and standards.
Size and write bid requests for all rotating equipment.
Size and write bid requests for all skidded equipment and pressure vessels.
Develop Corrosion/erosional design, Control system design, and review and approve execution plans from project engineers.
Review and approve MOCs, Lead HAZOPs, and assist operations with troubleshooting and operability.
Write all major equipment RFQ's, Create and redline P&IDs and Plot Plans.
Technical interface with vendors/suppliers.
Teach and train other engineers.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience as Facilities Engineer
Ability to design a tank battery and SWD from scratch including full process design and process modeling.
Experience with MOCs, HAZOPs, and assisting operations with troubleshooting and operability.
Experience with P&IDs and Plot Plans.
Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements.
Understanding of equipment spacing for operability, safety, and cost.
