The Manufacturing Supervisor coordinates all manufacturing floor activities, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently throughout your assigned shift. You will help organize and oversee the talented team of leads, operators and other floor associates to achieve the most optimal departmental workflow. You will advise floor leads on best practices, daily workflow organization, and the overall success rate of work output day-to-day. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee all manufacturing department floor operators and associates
Coordinate team shift schedules and all daily workflow
Lead daily area specific stand-ups (Tool Box Meetings)
Participate in Safety Team meetings
Oversee quality standards and overall quality process for all products and people processes
Maintain a high degree of visibility, access and open communication with all team members
Prioritize important issues and collaborate with department leadership on solutions related to internal workflows, processes, product quality and personnel
Support the development of each team member through training, coaching and mentoring
Listen, reflect, and respond to team member issues in a timely, forthright and thoughtful manner
Keep timely and detailed documentation for all Giants such as performance management, career planning, processes, etc.
Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new Giants, including contract employees
Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards throughout the SG campus
Consistently evaluate all operation stations to ensure optimum efficiency
Maintain visibility of communication between employees and all levels of leadership; ensure procedures and policies are understood and followed
Set daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives and communicate them with all Giants
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Ensure the scheduling of regular maintenance has been completed
Verify all Giant work output according to QA/QC specifications and other process documents
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements, monitoring progress closely
Oversee training of new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Innate ability to build great relationships and embrace people leadership
Dynamic communication skills, written and verbal
Critical thinking - ability to problem-solve using empirical/data-driven approaches
Proficient with mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures
Superb attention to detail, product quality and safety procedures
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment (24 hour turnaround on product)
Computer knowledge and skills (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel)
Experience with Lean manufacturing or lean manufacturing tools and principles
Six Sigma Certification preferred
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING
Completion of High School education or equivalent
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of direct team/people leadership experience
OSHA 10 certified (required), OSHA 30 (preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hours
Able to use a computer, keyboard, phone
Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 lbs
Able to lift up to and above 50 lbs with machine assistance
Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation
Visual acuity at short distances - able to detect variances in orders and cut marks
Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reaching

Pay Range: $65K - $75K
Full-time, exempt position
Monday - Friday
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
100% on-site position (no hybrid work available)
