Position Description
Join our Information Technology Operations team at the Louisville Assembly Plant, home of the Escape and Corsair. This role supports both ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and BHEV (Battery/Hybrid Electric Vehicle) production. As a member of Site IT, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the plant's IT infrastructure and application services, contributing to the production of high-quality vehicles. You'll also support process improvement efforts towards flexible and lean manufacturing, enabling the Factory of Tomorrow with technologies like IIOT, software-defined networks, and digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support a multi-shift operation with flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
Provide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools
Interface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts
Resolve incidents, execute business continuity plans, and support escalations
Maintain and integrate applications and hardware
Assist the Site IT Manager with managing assignments and workload
Develop and maintain accurate support documentation
Support local network equipment in a Cisco-based environment
Support local servers in both physical and virtual environments (Windows and Linux)
Support Factory of Tomorrow deployments using IIOT, iOS, software-defined networks, mobile, and Android equipment
