We are seeking a QA Analyst for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on testing ATM software in a lab environment, ensuring the functionality of both software and hardware components for each release. As a key member of the team, you will execute regression tests, identify, and document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the quality of ATM applications.
Title: QA Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) - Must be local to Charlotte, NC to be considered for this position.
Pay: $55-62 per hour
Duration: 12-month contract
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, document, and execute tests while troubleshooting issues to isolate and resolve problems.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for Epics and Stories in an agile environment.
Perform hands-on testing of ATM software on physical hardware in an onsite lab.
Document testing results, reduce defects to their most concise steps, and ensure thorough documentation.
Install software, condition data, and assess test environment issues.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve defects and issues.
Required Skills:
Strong ability to plan, document, and execute tests, including troubleshooting and documenting defects with due diligence.
Experience testing Epics and Stories within an agile framework, with a solid understanding of the tester's role in the agile process.
Onsite testing experience in a lab environment, specifically on ATM hardware.
Competence in reducing complex issues into concise documentation, including installations, data conditioning, and communicating test environment challenges.
Bachelor's Degree (Required).
Degree in Computer Science or relevant Testing Certification (Preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in hardware testing in a lab environment, with a curious and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
Prior experience testing devices in a lab setting.
