Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and protocols of the organization. This senior-level role involves developing and implementing quality management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Quality Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain and enhance the quality of products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Pay: Starting at $95,000/year

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma). Proficiency in quality management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2+ years' experience as a Quality Analyst for the MDE Program with exceptional quality scores (95% or higher).

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in auditing. Experience in training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• Assist examiners with completing complex DBQs.
• Attend VA and internal quality meetings.
• Ensure all Vendor Guidance Memos (VGMs) are adhered to in the field.
• Communicate error trends and provide feedback to Examiner Trainers.
• Review Error Citation Report (ECR) for trends and work with examiners accordingly.
• Travel to clinics and support and guide new and existing examiners in meeting quality standards.
• Review/approve all communications to the VA regarding quality and support.
• Supervise the Examiner Support Manager.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the organization's efforts in obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications (e.g., ISO).
• Identify areas for improvement within existing processes and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and increase quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present audit reports to senior management, outlining findings and recommendations.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with customer service and production teams to address customer complaints and feedback.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
• Work closely with various departments (e.g., production, engineering, customer service) to align quality objectives with organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
