About The Position:
The Senior People Training Specialist is responsible for creating course content and facilitating and assessing training needs within Greater Nevada. Demonstrate instructional design skills to develop customized training content and materials to develop skills and meet business needs.
What You'll Be Doing
Assess department needs, identify gaps, and design training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Design training content based on industry standards and best practices.
Utilize numerous training methods such as in-person, virtual, and hybrid training Work with subject matter experts (SME's) to plan, create, and facilitate training using a variety of learning methodologies.
Training must be engaging, interactive, and align with the learning objectives.
Implement changes in current training programs through feedback, assessments, and surveys.
Self-awareness and ability to give and receive feedback is critical.
Plan and schedule training with business partners and evaluate the effectiveness of that training.
Maintain skills by staying current on industry trends, techniques, and strategies and incorporate into training content.
Provide support in the form of coaching and mentoring. Manage, track, and report activities related to multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, education or a related field preferred
3-5 years in training and development/facilitiation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and deliver training programs
Knowledge of adult learning theories
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and learning management systems (Paycom LMS is a Plus)
Applies adult learning theory and Training industry expertise to design learning solutions
Knowledge of Instructional Design software such as Articulate, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, Canva, Vyond
Background with a financial institution not required but a plus
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Anything above 40 pounds requires a team lift.

Compensation & Benefits
$64,000 - $90,000 per year
Compensation is dependent on experience
