Job Description:

  1. Fully Remote: All roles for this project will be remote.
  2. Onsite Equipment Pickup: Equipment must be picked up in person during the first few days of the project.
  3. Local Candidates: Candidates must reside near Charlotte, NC to collect and return equipment. Equipment will not be shipped to or from participants.
  4. Target Start Date: Monday, December 2, 2024
  5. Duration: 10-12 weeks, typically running through mid-February 2025
  6. Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  7. Compensation: $18.00 per hour
  8. Work Hours After January 1st: Shifts will be scheduled between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with typical shifts being 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Occasional overtime opportunities may be available.
  9. Vacations and time off during the holidays: Client will be closed for Christmas Day and New Years Day but any extended time off during the project must be discussed with your recruiter prior to moving forward with this opportunity.


Job Description:
  • Collects and reviews all patient insurance benefit information from the payer to the degree authorized by the SOP of the program.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all internal team members; resolves any requests in a timely and accurate manner; escalates issues accordingly.
  • Maintains frequent phone contact with assigned payers.
  • Reports any reimbursement trends/delays to supervisor.
  • Coordinates with inter-departmental associates, as necessary.
  • Communicates effectively to payers to ensure accurate and timely benefit investigations.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined standard operating procedures to determine appropriate action.
  • Achieves or exceeds daily and weekly performance targets for BV completion.

Requirements:
  • High School, Diploma, or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, physician's office, healthcare setting, and/or related experience
  • Experience in an outbound call center environment.
  • Ability to work from home and hit daily and weekly KPI goals.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • A video interview with the client for selection will be required.
