Job Description:

Job Summary: The Commercial Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of ground-up construction projects exceeding $20 million. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through final closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to maintain timelines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, quality of work, and safety compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Prepare and present project reports, forecasts, and status updates to senior management and clients.
  • Foster a culture of safety and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior project staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up projects valued at $20 million or more.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
