ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to assist our premier Robotics client's Global Procurement Team in placing and managing orders for material required to deploy robotic fulfillment centers. This will include working with the global supply base to ensure orders are placed, expedited, tracked, and invoiced correctly.
Responsibilities:
New product launch and coordination
Maintain product cost, retail price, content and images, vendor relations, and assist with special projects
Use ERP systems to release materials and documents
Supply materials for internal metering centers
Work with engineering teams, vendors, issuing POs, invoicing, lead time, discrepancies
Work with hardwares, finance, commodity managers
Assist the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog and managing pricing
Required Experience:
1-3+ years professional experience, willing to consider entry level candidate
Associate's or higher degree in Supply chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
Supply chain, Procurement, Planning, or logistics background
Skills: fast paced, cutting edge design, quick learner
