The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of ground-up commercial construction projects. This role involves assisting with project coordination, budget management, and communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate project activities.
Documentation Management:
Prepare, maintain, and organize project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Communication:
Act as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for management and clients.
Site Visits and Inspections:
Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Identify potential issues and communicate them to the Project Manager.
Budget and Cost Tracking:
Assist in tracking project expenses and monitoring budget adherence.
Help prepare cost estimates and manage change orders as needed.
Risk Management:
Support the Project Manager in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and assist in addressing safety concerns on-site.
Quality Assurance:
Help ensure that all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality control processes and inspections.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in commercial construction or project management (internships or co-op experience included).
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
