Financial accounting, analysis and reconciliations including income, expenses and capital expenditures and fixed assets and inventory
Prepare accounting entries and for fixed asset and in-progress transactions •
Review and approve monthly and quarterly account reconciliations as prepared by the team to lower risk and ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Review and approve medium to high risk journal entries as prepared by the team
Prepare, review and input journal entries for month-end close
Participate in monthly, quarterly and Annual close
Analyze, investigate and resolve accounting and control issues in accordance with company policies
Prepare and analyze financial records and reports
Prepare account reconciliations and analysis including cash and bank, intercompany and general ledger.
Analyze variances, communicate results and provides support to operational areas in understanding and managing variances.
Participate in continuous improvement and champion best practices and improvements to transactional accuracy
Perform SOX controls
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Acct or Finance
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 yr of Financial Analysis
Prefer manufacturing experience
Prior knowledge of fixed assets
Great Advanced Excel and accounting software skills
