We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and construction of multi-million dollar data center projects in Reno, NV. This is a unique opportunity to manage large-scale, innovative builds within the mechanical contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and track project financials, providing regular reports to executives
Coordinate across teams, including field supervisors, CAD/detailing personnel, project engineers, and accounting
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery
Handle change management, including creating estimates, budgets, and proposals
Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors
Attend project meetings, mentor team members, and foster strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and potential future opportunities
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain diplomacy and tact in high-pressure situations
Strong technical skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in the mechanical or data center sectors
