Support development of the pricing and contracting strategy, playbook, and guidelines for all new customer contracts and product launches in collaboration with Commercial sales team and key internal functions.
Execute contract strategies for new product or account launches including deliverables in line with internal requirements, completion of required templates, meeting internal deadlines, and presenting to global decision-makers.
Work with marketing and finance to develop pricing scenarios and strategy for current and new pipeline products.
Management of global list price and contractual pricing for surgical robotic products
Monitor contract compliance reporting and accrual management in partnership with finance.
Ad hoc pricing analysis and deal structure development.
Communicates developed pricing and contracting strategies effectively and appropriately; leading Deal Council meetings for pricing and contracting approvals with leadership team
Salesforce support related to contract funnel management
Communicate and collaborate with cross functional team members and customers
Support Sales Dept meetings, communications, and key activities
Support customer inquiries related to pricing and contracting details; working closely with legal on finalizing contractual terms and conditions.
Leads the analysis of the impact on pricing decisions/ recommendations on Average Realized Price/profitability
Participates directly in key customer meetings, as appropriate
Develops and maintains relationships with customer account management teams
Develops and oversees implementation of key metrics. Regularly reviews current program progress to accomplish goals
Leads the yearly review of current pricing strategies and owns the process for developing recommendations for the next calendar year.
Required/preferred background and experience:
Bachelor's degree in business marketing, sales, accounting or finance
A minimum of 8 years professional experience in any of the following areas: pricing, contracting, finance, business development, market access, forecasting, portfolio analysis, or related fields. Advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of work experience, when appropriate
Capital equipment and or healthcare experience preferred
A strong level of analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and other key platforms
Ability to deliver message and presentations in a clear, confident manner
Ability to interact and manage multiple internal relationships at all levels of the business
Demonstrates an ability to manage and influence to ensure business objectives are met
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly proficient in use of software, such as MS Office, Salesforce, SharePoint and ERP system (NetSuite preferred).
High level of organization and detail-orientation
Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet commitments with and through others.
