Job Description:

Manage all commercial aspects of the Regional Field Service business, collaborating with Regional Field Service and Sales teams. Responsibilities include RFQs, quotes, purchase orders, post-delivery admin, procurement, tooling, and contract management. Focus on customer relationships and regional bookings while maintaining targeted margins.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management:
  • Supervise a team of 7+, setting performance goals and organizing workflow.
  • Monitor productivity, provide feedback, and foster high morale through leadership.
  • Implement training programs to enhance technical expertise and customer awareness.
  1. Commercial Strategy:
  • Develop strategies to meet sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate customer turnaround schedules and support regional sales efforts.
  • Achieve booking, revenue, and Operating Income targets for Field Service Aftermarket.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Oversee forecasting processes and defend margins for Field Service.
  • Manage regional spending and share P&L responsibility.
  • Track key performance indicators related to quotes, cost accuracy, and invoicing.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key customers, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics for continuous improvement.
  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the entire Field Service process, from RFQ to order acknowledgment.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and handle all commercial aspects during project execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for efficient processing of orders and contracts.
  1. Strategy and Business Development:
  • Drive growth initiatives and support pricing strategy development.
  • Implement tools like Oracle and CRM systems to enhance operations.
  1. Internal Coordination:
  • Facilitate job briefings and ensure timely billing and invoicing.

Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree or relevant experience in turbomachinery.
  • 10+ years in Sales/Business Administration; 15+ years in the rotating industry, with at least 5 years in management.
  • Experience in Field Service or Technical Service management.
  • Strong project planning, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Culturally aware, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; business development experience preferred.
  • Strong financial understanding of P&L management.
