Position Title: Quality Manager

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager leads the quality assurance team for the manufacturing site for cell manufacturing. The Quality Manager will be responsible for supporting and sustaining quality assurance programs and maintain quality standards for the manufacturing site.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee the development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) programs and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and company standards.

Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products.

Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians, engineers and sales personnel

Develops raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements, conferring and negotiating with suppliers, and devising testing methods and procedures

Implements in-process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods and devising testing methods and procedures

Establishes standards for the disposition of finished product by devising evaluation tests, methods, and procedures

Interfaces, resolves, root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions on customer complaints

Provides training and support to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices

Manages certification processes and maintain necessary certifications for the organization

Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures

Establish and maintain quality KPI records for all manufacturing operations

Collaborates with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods

Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and assign employees and following up on work results

Manages quality assurance staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

Any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, materials, chemical, engineering or other related degree.

Minimum of (8) eight years' experience in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, product engineering or quality assurance.

Must be well verse with ISO standards

Demonstrate a working knowledge of best practices in a manufacturing facility and production. Solar & semiconductor manufacturing industry a plus.

3 plus years of experience in a managerial position for a quality assurance team.

Significant experience in maintenance and improvement quality management system (QMS), drive implementation of quality objectives in the manufacturing plant & realization of suggestions for improvement in quality.

To develop, implement, communicate and maintain quality plan to bring the plant's quality systems and policies into compliance with corporate quality system requirements

Strong sense of responsibility, highly motivated, forward thinking, and proactive.

Good communication and teamwork skills and "can-do" attitude.

Excellent problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required with thorough working knowledge of Quality systems methods and practices (DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing concepts, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, etc.),

Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
