Job Description:

Job Summary

The Willow Data and Document Controller supports the Willow Project team in managing information management activities (data and documents).

Responsibilities
  • Project Information Support
  • Support Infrastructure Scope (Roads, Pads, Pipelines, Powerlines) Document Control Process including design deliverables, material request processing and construction support.
  • Participate in vendor training and provide support to vendors and suppliers for information requirements and procedures.
  • Administer Willow internal and external SharePoint sites.
  • User Management and Support
  • Train users as needed in access to project systems.
  • Provide support to users to ensure system access.
  • Data Management
  • Quality review of data from multiple sources (contractors, vendors, etc.).
  • Provide support in processing drawings in a variety of document management systems and/or Smart Plant.
  • Engineering Support
  • Format documents to comply with Willow template standard.
  • Assign numbers for new standards, deviations, and other documents; publish on SharePoint site and transmit to contractors.
  • Provide documents and data to contractors (Wood Fusion Live, AVEVA Engineering, etc.).
  • Maintain numbering systems.
  • Takes Accountability.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent years of work experience
  • Experience in managing project documents and data in support of a Project Team
  • Experience supporting a variety of users in either an IT or customer service environment
  • Must be detailed-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Business Tools
  • Able to learn and train users in a variety of software tools

Willow Project Overview

Located on Alaska's North Slope in the National Petroleum Reserve (NPR-A), the Willow project is estimated to produce 180,000 barrels of oil per day at its peak.

The economic impact of the Willow project will be sizable. According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) estimates, Willow could generate between $8 billion and $17 billion in new revenue for the federal government, the state of Alaska, the North Slope Borough, and local communities. The initial phase of Willow development will include a new Willow Central Processing Facility (WCF), three drill sites, pipelines, roads, bridges and supporting infrastructure.

The Willow project is spread over several phases and areas:
  • 2023 - 2025 - Detailed Design
  • 2023 - 2024 - WOC Fabrication
  • 2025 - 2027 - WOC North Slope Installation and Commissioning
  • 2025 - 2027 - WCF / DS Sealift Module Fabrication
  • 2027 - 2029 - WCF / DS North Slope Installation and Commissioning

Willow will be a greenfield design including all processing facilities, utilities, drilling equipment, camp, and power generation.
