Sr. Tax Accountant focused on indirect tax including sales and use tax and property tax. This includes filing returns, auditing, conducting research, and providing tax advice as necessary.
Job duties include:
Preparing, reviewing, and filing sales and use tax returns.
Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local sales and use tax laws and regulations.
Researching and resolving sales and use tax issues.
Overseeing and coordinating sales and use tax audits.
Providing guidance on the sales and use tax implications of various business initiatives and transactions.
Keeping up-to-date with changes in sales and use tax laws and regulations.
Working collaboratively with other departments to streamline and improve sales and use tax processes.
Reconciling tax accounts and maintaining accurate tax records.
Training and supporting staff on sales and use tax compliance and best practices.
