Lead Financial Oversight: Act as the finance lead for all new operations activities, including acquisitions and organic growth. This includes creating proformas, supporting due diligence, and overseeing integration processes.
Cost Management: Manage plant conversion costs, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and standard setting. Communicate detailed financial and operational information to diverse audiences.
Cost Management and Analysis:
Cost Accounting: Manage cost accounting, including cost allocation, cost control, and cost reduction strategies.
Detailed Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing costs, operational variances, and standard costing review. Improve cost accounting systems and processes.
Financial Reviews: Lead financial reviews of scrap and JDE standards.
Cost Savings Projects: Lead and analyze cost savings projects, providing strategic recommendations and reporting on paybacks.
Major Initiatives: Analyze major initiatives such as new facilities or manufacturing assets.
Experience: At least 7 years in a manufacturing environment with prior experience as a Plant Cost Accountant or Controller.
Skills: Proficient in cost accounting methodologies, inventory management, and product cost analysis. Advanced skills in Excel modeling and PowerPoint. Experience with JDE is required.

Additional Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
