Looking to hire a Business Development Professional to support a rapidly growing industrial trades company with their new and growing South Bend IN Office. They are a company can provide you with ongoing support through all phases of your production process, from the installation of new equipment to maintenance services like laser alignment and even ongoing maintenance to maximize efficiency and prolong the life of your machinery.
The position consists of cultivating new business in the Northern Indiana market (South Bend, Elkhart, Goshen and Mishawaka along with other areas). Primary focused on industrial manufacturing within the territory. This position will have several existing accounts with the expectation of growing and cultivating new business opportunities. This position is responsible for cross selling shutdown support, large/small project bids, capital projects and general maintenance. Responsibilities:
Sales Calls to existing customers, prospect facilities, identify opportunities and build long-term relationships.
Make formal presentations to customer decision-makers
Coordinate with our estimators, skilled trade's representatives and other internal departments for quotes and bids
Daily territory management to gain new accounts and meet or exceed revenue goals through visits to various customer job sites/offices
Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals
Optimize product and service offerings to grow customer base and reach additional market segments
Understand market conditions and competitive environment to maximize pricing opportunity
Follow up on marketing qualified leads and submitted proposals
Report to our Indiana office on a daily basis and weekly meetings held at Corporate Headquarters Portage, MI
Qualifications:
3-5 years of outside sales experience preferred, Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience)
Ability to cold call and prospect new customers, through defined sales goals
Dedication to excellence and a commitment to quality, honest, professional and self-starting attitude
Proficient with MS Office and CRM software; excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel on a daily basis to customer sites (MI/IN)
Outside industrial sales experience with a technical aptitude
