Must have: Post tensioning and repair strengthening experience
Job Duties:
Engineering Calculations and Design: Prepare detailed calculations and drawings for post-tensioning and reinforcing applications, including infrastructure repair and strengthening. Experience with carbon fiber reinforced polymer systems is a plus.
Drawing Oversight: Oversee and direct detailers in the preparation of accurate shop drawings for assigned projects.
Product Development: Contribute to product development, testing, and certification projects.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to project managers and field operations teams.
External Communication: Collaborate with contractors and design engineering firms as needed.
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering concentration is required.
Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ACI, PTI, PCI, AASHTO, and AISC.
Experience with post-tensioning and proficiency in structural analysis and CAD software.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and professional.
Analytical and skilled in troubleshooting, identifying customer needs, and understanding market dynamics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar software.
