Role Description
In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead thoughtful and creative projects, working with a firm known for innovative, client-centered design. You'll provide important leadership and direction to the Interior Design team, ensuring successful collaboration with in-house architects and external consultants as you manage projects from concept to construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the interior design process through every stage of completion, including space planning, material selection, and overseeing installations;
Collaborating closely with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure a cohesive design vision;
Managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high design standards and project timelines;
Mentoring and guiding junior designers to foster professional growth and maintain a collaborative team atmosphere;
Staying up to date with trends in design, materials, and technology to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field, from a CIDA accredited school;
10+ years of professional experience in interior design, with proven leadership in high-end projects;
Registered Architect and/or Interior Designer a definite plus;
Proficiency in 2D/3D design software, with specific experience in Adope Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Vectorworks, AutoCAD and/or Sketchup a plus;
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both residential and commercial interior design;
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
