**This position is contingent on contract award expected late fall of 2024**
Duties/Responsibilities:
This position will support a Contract Management Team (CMT) tasked with managing the Systems Engineering Support (SES) contract for the SED. The position will report to the Business Finance Officer, and the Operations Manager. The position provides a broad range of Project Services support, AR billing support, travel management support, Accounting and Purchasing. Assists with developing and coordinating processes and procedures that will improve upon the efficiency and operational aspects of Project Services, Billing, Purchasing and Accounting activities, templates and forms and other items as identified.
Project Services:
Understand the nature of government contracting
ETC/EACs, Project Tracking and Other Reporting
Learn and use Operational Budget
Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) Management
Prepare and submit Profit Analysis to the Project/Program Managers and management.
Contract Financial Data entry and timecard importing task
Charge Code Management
Other PM support functions Travel (backup support)
Process travel requests
Process reimbursement requests and submit to AP for payment
Billing/Accounting:
Process and submit AR Billing
Submit AP invoices for payment
Manage AR deposits
Support SBA, State and other reporting Purchasing
PO processing, including trainings
Education/Experience:
AA/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field with 2-5 years of experience in a related field preferred. Degree substitution possible based on actual experience supporting government contracts.
Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and budgeting is a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Microsoft Word - Be able to create and format documents and tables.
Microsoft Excel - be able to create worksheets complex formulas.
Microsoft Power Point - Be able to create slides and perform basic flow charting.
Understand and be proficient user of state-of-the-art ERP systems, such as ESP21.
Flexibility, Teamwork and attention to detail are a must.
Must be able to communicate clearly and manage multiple deadlines.
