Job Summary

The National Glass Director will be required to ensure our collision center teammates are repairing vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in a manner consistent with Quality Collision Group Standard Operating Procedures, insurance partners and industry guidelines/standards. National Glass Director will also provide clear expectations and necessary tools, training & information to each General Manager, including developing "on the ground" relationships with these targets and source and recruit qualified candidates for potential employment and establish a pipeline for recruiting high quality talent.

Responsibilities Essential Functions

  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
  • Experience in Logistics
  • Scheduling Platforms
  • Glass Requirements
  • Distribution and TPA's
  • Supervise and coordinate the plant floor team and activities throughout the glass products manufacturing process.
  • Oversee and conduct new and existing employee training (work methods, procedures, safety).
  • Inspect product to verify company specifications including direct machine setup and adjustment.
  • Communicate with employees regarding performance reviews, disciplinary problems, material shortages, and equipment problems. Serve as the first point of contact in resolving problems and maintaining an efficient, orderly workflow.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and manage raw materials inventory.
  • Comply with all required employment laws and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate working relationships with internal team members, external customers, and regulatory agency employees.
  • Create and maintain a plant floor environment that promotes safety.
  • Improve efficiencies and develop staffing strategies.
  • Maintain and improve high quality levels by ensuring that all work processes are executed with accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of technical experience in collision repair or glass repair
  • Strong interpersonal Skills.
  • Patient, empathetic and passionate.
  • Desire to take on a new challenge.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Committed to professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
