IDR is seeking a Epic Analyst to join one of our top clientsin the healthcare industry in San Mateo, California. Position Overview for the Epic Analyst:
  • Application Build and Implementation: Responsible for completing assigned application build requirements as part of the new Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation project, ensuring all tasks align with project timelines, milestones, and phases.
  • Workflow Analysis and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive workflow analysis and documentation in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, translating requirements and concepts into functional system specifications.
  • Task Management and Reporting: Proactively manage assigned tasks to align with the project scope and build requirements, ensuring timely completion and reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Epic Project Team.
  • End-User Support and Training: Assist in facilitating the needs of end-users and business owners into system specifications, participating in training content development, and providing support during system upgrades and optimization activities to enhance user adoption of new processes.

Required Skills for the Epic Analyst:
  • Active Epic Certification: Must possess a current Active Epic Certification in Professional Billing and Claims, with a minimum of two years of experience in Epic model design, build, and implementation specifically within a healthcare organization. Certifications will be verified through the Epic system.
  • Experience in Application Development: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in Epic "assisted application" design, build, and implementation within a healthcare environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of the processes involved.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, ensuring a foundational knowledge in technology and systems relevant to the role.
  • Onsite Requirement: Must be able to meet onsite (hybrid) requirements for approximately one week per month in San Mateo County, CA. Candidates located in different time zones must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
