CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Engineer for a growing well established manufacturing company in Danvers MA. This person must have the qualifications outlined as this is a crucial position and the only Quality Engineer on site. This is a direct hire, permanent role offering growth, competitive pay and full benefits package.
Requirements:
Lead and mentor Quality Inspectors
Lead new product introduction projects
Read, understand, and interpret GD&T drawings
Develop measurement methods, fixtures, and automated measurement programs based on requirements.
Program vision systems for automated measurements (OGP SmartScope)
Analyze capability results
Coordinate Gage R&R and analyze test results
Develop and support process validation (IQ, OQ and PQ)
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions
Support the Quality Management System (ISO 13485)
Setup and support Quality modules of the ERP system (iQMS)
Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of GD&T
Vision System programming experience (QVI OGP SmartScope preferred)
SolidWorks
Experience analyzing results of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiment (D.O.E.), Gage R&R, and Capability
Experience leading teams
Experience within the medical device industry
Experience working within an ISO 13485 quality management system (QMS)
Experience with quality audits
Experience developing quality and risk documentation (Process Flow Charts, FMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions, etc.)
Full working knowledge in the use of inspection tools and gages.
Experience working within an injection molding environment
Willing to do what it takes to get the job done right
Clearly communicates in English, both written and spoken
Detail oriented
Able to make good decisions based on facts
PC-DMIS CMM programming a plus
FDA Regulatory experience a plus
