Blu Omega is seeking a COMSEC and Cryptography Policy Advisor to develop and monitor the implementation of policy and procedures to support information, privacy security goals, and operations.
Responsibilities:
Develops changes in COMSEC and Cryptography policies and strategies to support new initiatives and required changes.
Manages information security implications within the organization as directed by leadership.
Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
Works on complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions.
Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a Cybersecurity or Technology field and 12+ years of experience working with Cybersecurity, or 18+ years of experience working with Cybersecurity in lieu of a degree.
Experience briefing OSD level or with Military Command at the Pentagon.
Knowledge of cryptography modernization technologies.
Create various Policies: Directives, Instructions, and Manuals.
Due to contractual and security obligations TS/SCI clearance is required.
Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA five (5) days a week.
Salary Range: $185,000- $215,000
Your final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
