We are a leading provider of third-party logistics (3PL) services, offering warehousing, fulfillment, and inventory management solutions through our proprietary software. As we expand our offering, we aim to transform our software into a platform that allows distributors to manage their own clients and inventory. We are looking for a Business Analyst/Project Manager/Product Manager to lead this initiative, from gathering business requirements to managing the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with stakeholders to capture and document business needs, translating them into clear, actionable requirements. • Project Management: Develop a project plan, set timelines, and manage resources to ensure on-time delivery of the software enhancements. • Product Strategy: Define the vision and strategy for the expanded software offering, aligning it with both business and customer needs. • Vendor/Developer Management: Identify and recommend appropriate development resources, whether internal or external. Oversee/ensure developers have a clear understanding of project goals. • Stakeholder Communication: At times, serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders (distributors, clients, internal teams) and technical teams to ensure clear communication. • User Management System Design: Help design the framework that will allow distributors to manage their own users and clients within the software. • Testing & Quality Assurance: Work to develop a UAT testing documentation to ensure the new features meet business requirements and function as intended. • Training & Support: Develop training documentation and materials for internal teams, distributors, and their clients. Provide ongoing support as necessary post-launch. • Continuous Improvement: Monitor user feedback, track system performance, and recommend further improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications: • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or product management, preferably in software development or logistics/3PL. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development lifecycles, user management systems, and APIs. • Project Management Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex business and technical challenges.
Preferred Skills: • Experience working in logistics/3PL environments or promotional products. • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management platforms. • Experience with cloud-based software solutions and SaaS business models.
